PPPC Announces new CEO

Seasoned veteran assumes leadership of promotional products industry

MONTREAL- Ed Ahad will rely heavily on his experience and established relationships to strengthen the industry in his new role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC).

 

“PPPC has a strategic and vital role to play in sustaining the growth of Canada’s nearly $4 billion promotional products industry and dealing with the two major issues facing our industry: globalization and technology,” Mr. Ahad said Wednesday. “These are issues best managed and coordinated at a national level. PPPC is ideally positioned to lead the effort to find effective strategies to address these challenges by bringing together the best knowledge and expertise our industry has to offer,” he said.

 

PPPC’s new Chief Executive Officer is well-known in the promotional products sector. The former Director of Sales and Marketing who served with one of Canada’s leading suppliers of promotional products for 20 years, Mr. Ahad has also been active at an industry level having recently completed a term as Chairman of PPPC.

 

“My experience on the Board of Directors of PPPC has shown me the great potential of this association to help all sectors of this industry grow and prosper through the provision of better tools, better knowledge and more strategic approaches to common challenges,” he said. “I look forward to building upon established relationships and forging new ones to ensure that we gather the best people, the best knowledge and the ideas to ensure our industry emerges from the present economic climate quickly and successfully,” he said.
